(Cash Management System)
CMS provides a unique business solution to the Commercial Banks for managing
the Collection and Payment Process. It is designed to enable the banks to
provide a new service to its clients – mainly corporate entities to access
funds in pipeline and to provide instant information to the customer thereby
increasing the velocity of fund transfer. CMS enhances the transactional
capabilities and service levels of the Bank for their customers. eCMS, an
add-on to CMS enables the customers a view on the status of instruments
deposited for collection and payment. Further eCMS enables account viewing
facility from the account holder’s office or Home. LMS, another additional
feature in CMS enables the customers to gain a better yield on their funds. LMS
provides a solution to corporate enterprises to deploy idle funds in income
earning financial assets or for cost reduction in overdraft accounts. LMS
enables banks to offer pooling of funds of corporate entities in one account
facilitating better funds management and control.
